Historical, social, and professional context of early-childhood education. Historical and professional foundations facilitate an understanding of the philosophy, rationale, and goals of the field. Critical analysis of the societal, economic, and political context of early-childhood education. Open only to students in the early childhood education program. Students enrolled in T L 6291 will be held to a higher standard of performance and may be assigned additional work.
