Description:
The Environmental and Sustainability Studies Program offers a broad, inter-disciplinary education. Students take classes from many different departments and colleges across campus, exposing students to a multitude of ideas, theories, methodologies, and perspectives. The capstone course serves as an opportunity to integrate and synthesize these diverse learning experiences. Students will engage, assess, and apply prevailing theories, models, and concepts of environmental and sustainability issues. They will also reflect on their role as educators, communicators, and responsible citizens. Finally, students will complete a project that utilizes their conceptual skills and what they have learned in their courses. Prerequisites: 'C-' or better in ENVST 2051 AND ENVST 2100 AND ENVST 3364 AND ENVST 3365 AND (ENVST 2050 OR AP Environmental Science score of 3+)
