Description:
Position, velocity and acceleration, vector calculus, particle kinematics, kinetics of particles, including Newton's Laws, conservation of momentum and energy, and impact vibratory motion of particles are covered. Kinetics and kinematics of rigid bodies in 2-D and 3-D motion, moving frames, 3-D mass moment of inertia, and an introduction to vibration analysis of mechanical systems. It is recommended students complete MATH 2210 prior to taking this course. Prereq: ENGR 2010 Semester: All
