This course will be an experiential, hands on learning class. Students will study in depth categories of event planning, and current issues/trends of event management. Students will learn how to plan, manage, and execute events from start to finish and how various communication theories apply to events, and the power of persuasion and planning in events. Students will learn to write, communication and utilize public relations for even management. Students will be assigned events throughout the semester and will be expected to participate in the planning, execution, and attendance of the event.
