3 Credit(s) This course presents the student with foundational concepts and techniques of the Python programming language. The student will develop an understanding of the format and structure of coded programs and applications. The essential elements of the programming language will be presented and explored in class. The course will use hands-on labs and exercises to illustrate the practical application of Python. Cybersecurity majors must take IS 1200 as a prerequisite to this course; Computer Science and other majors may request that the prerequisite be waived.
