This course provides an overview of the methods of film and media arts education. Students explore the content areas of film education (film history & criticism, film & media arts production, and aesthetics) as well as film art education pedagogy. Students will learn to plan lessons using the state core curriculum and create assessment tools. The course is a hands-on methods course in which students are required to implement the film lessons they have designed. They will work with both secondary and elementary school students.
