This course introduces Musical Theatre Program students to the elements of acting through the use of self as a basis for investigation and discovery. The course introduces acting process and exploration of the self in creating character, focusing on the elements of acting as applied to exercises, improvisation, contemporary monologues, and scene work. Prerequisites: Admission to Emphasis in Musical Theatre OR Instructor Consent.
