This course emphasizes plant and environment relationships and plant community dynamics as they relate to planting design. Basic planting design principles are introduced and applied to a variety of project types. Land reclamation planting in non-irrigated landscapes is also addressed. Two three-hour studios per week are required. Prerequisite(s)/Restriction(s): Admission to the Bachelor of Landscape Architecture program
