Prerequisite(s): DGM 1520, DGM 3590, and University Advanced Standing. Presents advanced viewing and discussion of selected documentaries and instruction in various production skills necessary to create video documentaries. Explores the diversity of documentary styles and approaches including interview, archival, observational, etc. Requires the completion of various exercises from conceptualization through postproduction, culminating in the production of professional level documentary project. May be repeated for a maximum of 9 credits toward graduation.. Lab access fee of $45 applies. Course lab fee of $60 applies.
