Prerequisite(s): Admission into the MSN program or Department approval. Focuses on pathophysiological and pharmacological processes across the lifespan and the development of clinical reasoning skills that distinguish the relationships between normal physiology and the specific system alterations produced by injury and disease. Gives particular attention to etiology, pathogenesis, developmental and environmental influences and the clinical manifestations of major health problems with pharmacologic interventions to students enrolled in the nursing education program.
