This course provides a study of musculoskeletal anatomy and kinesiological analysis applied specifically to the art of dance. The course prepares the student to understand common musculoskeletal idiosyncrasies, imbalances, and injuries, and begin to address them in relation to dance training, conditioning, and somatic-based approaches. Meets with DANC 4510 and DANC 6610. Prerequisites: Full Major status in the School of Dance OR Department Consent.
