This course will explore how the perspective provided by the biological theory of evolution helps to understand human and non-human animal psychology. Fundamental evolutionary principles will be introduced and their application to psychological theory and research carefully evaluated. Individual topics include romantic relationships, family dynamics, cooperation, clinical pathology, judgment and decision-making, and more.
