This course focuses on methods to enhance early literacy development. The acquisition of both first and second languages, concepts of emergent literacy, and the integration of phonics are stressed. This course is a practicum course; a background check through SUU must be completed prior to registering for this course. Placement requests must be made before the drop date, otherwise students will be dropped from the course.
