Prerequisite(s): MECH 1300, MECH 1305. Corequisite(s): MECH 2700. Applies the principles of Installation, troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and theory on DC/AC motors, generators, and associated industrial control circuitry. Uses ladder logic, controls, sensors, motor starters, overloads, and electronic devices used to control and protect DC/AC Machines. Lab activities include the wiring of transformers, and three phase systems in both delta and wye configurations.
