Uses common analytical tasks such as clustering, classifying, and predicting outcomes, along with common algorithms used in data analytics, such as regression, decision trees, and neural networks. Discusses the legal, ethical, and privacy issues inherent with big data projects. Includes hands-on experience with data extraction, data analysis and interpretation.. Course lab fee of $24 for testing services applies.
