The CIS orientation class is designed to introduce students to the program and degree pathway for the CIS department. Students will be introduced to the curriculum, pathways, and industry certifications. Students will be introduced to the learning model utilized in the department to include; online/hybrid instruction, required clock hours in class, and program outcomes. Students will learn how to utilize software platforms used in the program for learning (e.g., Canvas, NetAcad, and Packet Tracer).
