This course is intended for individuals pursuing work as climbing instructors or guides and covers the curriculum of the American Mountain Guides Association (AMGA) Single Pitch Instructor Course. Instruction will take place predominantly at local outdoor climbing areas through practical skills sessions. The course also includes relevant lecture, discussion, and teaching exercises. Emphasis will be placed on development of skills and knowledge base for rock climbing instructors.
