Students learn to design, develop, and deploy data-driven web applications using server-side JavaScript frameworks (Node.js). The course covers server-side application architecture, database implementation and connectivity, user authentication and security, session management, and REST API development. Additional coursework is required for those enrolled in the graduate-level course. Prerequisite/Restriction: IS 5700 or IS 6700 Dual Listed: IS 5750
