Elementary study of the compounds of carbon and chemical compounds and reactions of biological systems. The second course in a two-semester sequence designed primarily for students of nursing, engineering technology and some other fields of science and health professions who require no more than one year of chemistry. This class must be taken with CHEM 1125 Elementary Chemistry Lab.
