This course focuses on the practical application and best practices of the project management processes outlined in the Project Management Institute's A Guide to the Project Management Body of Knowledger (PMBOK). Consideration of the 12 "Principles of Project Management" will be examined in the context of each of 8 Project Performance Domains. These include: stakeholders, team, developement approach and life cycle, planning, project work, delivery, measurement, and uncertainty. This course offers a critical and comprehensive initiation to the practice of project management, and blends theory with practical examples. This course also prepares students to become certified through PMI with the industry-recognized Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPMr) credential.
