This course develops skills and knowledge related to performing, recruitment, and leadership with special emphasis on representing Utah Tech University to prospective students through live and virtual group performance. Students will develop skills as featured vocalists, an ensemble member, as well as enhance movement abilities for the physical performer. Repertoire will focus on many genres of contemporary music from the twentieth to the twenty-first century. Repeatable up to 16 credits, subject to graduation restrictions. **COURSE LEARNING OUTCOMES (CLOs) At the successful conclusion of this course, students will be able to: 1. Perform with confidence and proficiency. 2. Perform with artistic expression and authenticity. 3. Demonstrate musical literacy through appropriate style and performance practices. 4. Demonstrate an understanding of the principles of successful student recruitment. 5. Demonstrate an understanding of the principles of teamwork, conflict resolution, time management, and professional deportment. FA, SP
