Prerequisite(s): EDUC 5670. Continues the development of a personal identity as an artist and teacher who uses the arts. Enables participants to construct and facilitate learning experiences in each art form based on National and State Core Art Standards. Teaches educators to develop and assess the cognitive, phycisal, social, and emotional needs and abilities of individual learners and meet those needs through arts instruction and experiences. Prepares participants to advocate for the arts by applying and descriting how arts education aligns with effective educational theories.
