This course includes mastery of operations and applications using whole numbers, integers, fractions, decimals including prealgebra topics on percents, unit conversions, exponents and square roots, basic formulas and simple linear equations. There will be a focus on numeracy and problem solving. This course will prepare students for success in Math 0990, 1035 or 1045. Prerequisite(s): ENGL 0900 or higher with a C grade or better OR placement into ENGL 0990 or higher. Semester(s): All
