Students will demonstrate proficiency in Automotive Service Excellence-Education Foundation (ASE-T3) Drive Train Systems Master Medium/Heavy Truck Technician Tasks in accordance with industry standards: -General: Inspect and Service Drivetrain Components -Clutch Inspection and Adjustment -Transmission Component Inspection and Troubleshooting -Inspect, Remove and Repair Axle, Driveshaft and Universal Joint Components -Individual tasks can be viewed at the website for the ASE Educational Foundation. Students will be assessed using a combination of summative tests, formative quizzes, work/task/job sheets, written assignments, student presentations, and hands-on competencies (using live work, program vehicles, and class training aids).
