This course is designed to develop students' oral skills to have direct conversation and communication with others. The course focuses on improving listening comprehension, participating in class discussions, understanding conversational strategies, giving group presentations, asking and answering questions, interacting effectively with others, and improving through self-evaluation of speech. Prerequisite(s): Appropriate SLCC placement or successful completion of TESL 1130
