The course will provide an overview of general hazards common to most workplaces with focus on manual material handling, slips trips and falls, machine guarding and other exposures. Exposures common to most industries will be covered. Generally accepted mitigation methodologies will be reviewed both from a regulatory and best practice standpoint. The students will be able to recognize inadequately mitigated hazards In their workplaces.
