This course will unravel intersectional ideas around identity pertaining to gender, race, and queerness. Through this unraveling we will explore the history of science and how social attitudes and contexts shaped the experiences of racial, gender, and sexual minorities in science. A closer examination will also be taken of these forces' roles in student experiences in science education.
