For Army ROTC cadets. MILS 4211 is an academically challenging course where you will develop the knowledge, skills, and abilities required of junior officers pertaining to the Army in Multidomain Operations and Company Grade Officer roles and responsibilities. This course includes reading assignments, homework assignments, small group assignments, briefings, case studies, practical exercises, a mid-term exam, and an Oral Practicum as the final exam. Successful completion of this course will assist in preparing you for your BOLC B course and is a mandatory requirement for commissioning. Includes a lab per week overseeing MS III lesson facilitation and supervised by ROTC Cadre. **COURSE LEARNING OUTCOMES (CLOs)** At the successful conclusion of this course students will: 1. Explain the principles of Multi-domain Operations and apply them to hypothetical scenarios. 2. Analyze different offensive and defensive strategies, evaluate their effectiveness, and suggest improvements. 3. Identify key Army combat system and enablers and their capabilities and explain how they can be used in various operational contexts. 4. Develop strategies for assuming their role as a commissioned officer in different situations. 5. Evaluate different aspects of unit readiness, identify areas for improvement, and suggest strategies to enhance readiness. Prerequisites: MILS 4200 (Grade C or higher) or Departmental Approval.
