A beginning course with a concentration in the development of technical skills which are specific to jewelry and nonferrous metals. Projects are developed to introduce and develop student skills in a variety of tools and processes. The course provides instruction in small metals fabrication, centrifugal casting, repousse, and enameling. Prerequisites: Full Major status in BFA Studio Art OR "C-" or better in (ART 2201 AND ART 2202 AND ART 2203 AND ART 2204 AND ART 2205 AND ART 2206 AND ART 2207 AND ART 2208)
