This course explores the latest applications of movement, dance, and creativity as a healing and somatic form of therapy. It includes lecture/discussion, student workshops in dance, laboratory experiences, and community-engaged service learning. Furthermore, it provides basic to intermediate-level mentored practices in senior centers, assisted living, and memory care communities. This course is appropriate for students of the arts and/or of health-related fields who are willing to access their creative potential and service to the community.
