Prerequisite(s): Acceptance into the Master's of Education program.. Introduces teachers and instructional specialists to exemplary global/intercultural curriculum and pedagogy that have helped students enhance higher order thinking skills, socio-emotional competences, and global/intercultural competences. Analyzes globalization processes and their influences on teaching and learning in a global and intercultural context. Discusses similarities and differences of pedagogical and classroom practices between/within/across cultures in terms of competency-based teaching and learning. Integrates global/intercultural curriculum and pedagogy to be used in K-12 classrooms and any other educational settings.
