This course introduces important concepts and skills necessary to write scripts to secure computer systems. Students will build on skills learned in other programming courses and apply them to common system administration and security tasks, such as creating users, setting permissions and access rights, file manipulation, security testing, vulnerability scanning, digital investigations, and data analysis for incident response. This course may cover languages and systems such as, but not limited to, Python (Windows & Linux), PowerShell (Windows), and BASH (Linux).
