Description:
The campus clinical intensive is a one-week live interaction at the SUU campus. It allows the nurse practitioner students to exercise their skills through interactive activities that are not available through online course work. Students will engage in clinical course related activities such as physical assessment practice with standardized patients, case presentations and communication, simulation cases and procedures, wound management and primary care office procedures. The on-campus intensive also provides an opportunity for students to connect to the MSN faculty and other health profession programs at SUU. (Fall, Spring, Summer) [Graded (Standard Letter)] Prerequisite(s): NURS 6630 and NURS 6650 Registration Restriction(s): MSN FNP students only
