This Primary Care Clinical Course provides an immersive and hands-on experience in delivering comprehensive and patient-centered care to the adult population. Guided by evidence-based practice, students will enhance their clinical skills, diagnostic reasoning, and therapeutic interventions in managing common acute and chronic health conditions prevalent in adult primary care. Through supervised clinical practice, students will refine their proficiency in health assessments, diagnostics, and the formulation of evidence-based treatment plans. Emphasis is placed on fostering effective communication, health promotion, and disease prevention strategies specific to adult patients. Students will be well-equipped to navigate the complexities of adult primary care, ensuring a holistic approach to wellness, preventative care, and the effective management of adult health concerns. This course is conducted exclusively within a clinical setting, providing students with hands-on experience in delivering comprehensive, patient-centered adult primary care.
