This course investigates the biopsychosocial factors which contribute to health and illness. Issues within the fields of medical psychology and behavioral medicine are discussed. Topics may include health and illness behaviors, stress, pain, seeking and adhering to medical advice, nutrition, emerging health trends, chronic illness, and behaviors associated with specific types of illness and disease.
