    The Solaris Operating System (Solaris OS) is the foundation on which some of the world's leading companies are built. Offering high levels of reliability, availability, security, and scalability, Solaris systems meet today's demands while anticipating tomorrow's innovation. The objective of this course is to provide a comprehensive understanding of the administrative aspects of the Solaris operating system. At the end of the course students will have the skills required to administer a Solaris system, including user management, disk management, backing up procedures, startup and shutdown procedures, and process management. The course provides students with the opportunity to integrate and apply administration in a comprehensive manner indicative of Information Technology programs of study.     This course provides an overview of cyber warfare and the potential impact of its use by military, terrorist, and criminal organizations. By studying the operation of computer networks, the student will gain an appreciation of how they have both benefited society and made portions of its infrastructure more vulnerable.
