This course develops academic listening and speaking skills of advanced level students who speak languages other than English. Learners work on academic vocabulary, listening skills, effective note-taking, and discussion and presentations. Course materials include authentic academic lectures and texts. This course prepares students to use English in educational, vocational, and personal contexts. Prerequisite(s): Appropriate SLCC placement or successful completion of TESL 1410 Advanced I Listening/Speaking. Semester(s): All
