This course will cover (1) cardiac and vascular anatomy (2) radiological examinations (3) common pathologies.Course ObjectivesBy the completion of the semester, each student will demonstrate the ability to discuss and demonstrate application of the following skills and abilities: 1.Identify anatomy of the heart and large vessels within various radiologic sciences modalities. 2.Describe common radiologic sciences examinations in radiography, sonography, computed tomography, magnetic resonance imaging, and nuclear medicine. 3.Identify and describe common cardiac pathologies including: contusion, cardiomyopathy, infarction, dysplasia, tumors, and aneurysm.
