    Actual participation with outside performing arts organizations in the day-to-day activity of a performing arts organization will introduce the student to the professional application of classroom skill and knowledge. Possibilities include but are not limited to: Repertory Dance Theatre, Ballet West or Utah Symphony (management or tech only), Utah Shakespeare Festival, Salt Lake Acting Company, and Pioneer Theatre Company. Permission of supervising instructor required for credit.

    The Senior Project is an opportunity for graduating students to generate and realize a project in an area of primary interest. Typically, the project will reflect the student's emphasis in theatre arts (e.g., Acting, Directing, Design, etc.) and will demonstrate a culmination of previous study and may be a collaborative project. Prerequisite: Faculty approval of the proposal and a faculty advisor and the student must have completed a minimum of 90 credit hours.
