    This course is the second of a two-semester sequence of ballet technique courses for freshman (first-year) Modern Dance majors. This course builds on material presented in DANC 1330, continuing to provide technical training in classical ballet technique and introducing students to a more extensive understanding of ballet terminology. Students receive instruction in principles of alignment, placement, and carriage in classical ballet. Prerequisites: "C-" or better in DANC 1330 OR Department Consent.
