    This course is designed to offer continued experience in the choreographic process; it is the culmination of students' creative studies before making dances for the senior concert in the spring semester. The course builds upon experience gained from prior composition work, focusing primarily on making complete, finished dances. Students will proceed from process to product, from movement studies into full choreographic statements. Prerequisites: "C-" or better in DANC 3610 OR Department Consent.

    This course is designed for undergraduate dance majors to explore dance as a viable form of service learning. The course addresses community service, leadership, and volunteerism in modern dance. Prerequisites: "C-" or better in DANC 2420 OR Department Consent.

    This course is designed to prepare students for the planning and proposal stages of their senior capstone projects . The course also serves as preparation to pursue a career in dance, covering issues such as job search, career ethics, and alternative and related careers.     This course is designed to support the fulfillment of the research proposals began in the Fall Semester. Students coordinate choreography, lighting, costuming, and production of dances for senior concert; projects can also include screen dances, installations, site-specific work, and performance work. The course continues to focus on preparation for careers in dance. Prerequisites: "C-" or better in DANC 4460 OR Department Consent.

    This course provides a study of musculoskeletal anatomy and kinesiological analysis applied specifically to the art of dance. The course prepares the student to understand common musculoskeletal idiosyncrasies, imbalances, and injuries, and begin to address them in relation to dance training, conditioning, and somatic-based approaches. Prerequisites: Full Major or Minor status in the School of Dance OR Department Consent
