Firms are collecting a wealth of data, and need to transform that raw data into visual, actionable information. In this course you will learn how to analyze and present data using interactive spreadsheet-like interfaces (i.e., visual analytics tools). You will become competent in using software such as Tableau Desktop (e.g, data dashboard), Excel (e.g., PowerPivot, Data analysis toolpak, what-if analysis, scenario manager, and data table), and Visual Basic for Applications (e.g., VBA macro, automating Solver, and pivot table). Prerequisites: 'C-' or better in (BCOR 3050 AND Intermediate status in Business) OR Full Major or Minor status in the School of Business OR Full Major status in QAMO
