A study of plants of economic and cultural importance to humans. Flowering and nonflowering plants and products such as fruit, forage, grain, medicines, herbs and spices, textile fibers, dyes, lumber, etc., as studied in relation to human history. This course is of cultural significance. This course may satisfy Natural Sciences Individual Choice GE. Prerequisites: any Bio core class (i.e. Bio 1010, Bio 1070, etc.) or instructor permission.
