Prerequisite(s): University Advanced Standing and admission to Professional Education Program or permission of department chair. Provides strategies for collaborating and communicating with families, other educators, related service providers, individuals with exceptionalities, and personnel from community agencies in culturally responsive ways. Provides a review of interagency collaboration and consultation for life skills. Emphasizes creating multidisciplinary teams and professional learning communities who are prepared to assist parents and other teachers in collaborative problem solving.
