Applies the philosophy of aesthetics to the exploration of the nature of art and personal artistic preferences. Teaches educators to develop and assess the cognitive, physical, social, and emotional needs and abilities of individual learners and meet those needs through arts instruction and experiences.

Prepares participants to advocate for the arts by applying and descriting how arts education aligns with effective educational theories.

Identifies and connects various programs and practices at district, region, state, and national levels to help participants promote and experience the arts, while meeting shared goals.
