Pre- or Corequisite(s): ART 2720. Teaches the basic skills needed to control and manipulate light as a tool for the photographer in communication of artistic vision. Explores different lighting sources and investigates the effects of direction, quality and quantity. Emphasizes flash photography, tungsten, and natural lighting. Studies photographic studio, location, and mixed lighting techniques. Covers processes and concepts through slide presentations, readings, critiques and class discussions.. Course Lab fee of $19 for equipment applies.
