Transfer Application Requirements

  • Official Transcripts:
    UVU requires official transcripts of all previous college and high school work or, if applicable, GED or other certification of high school completion.
  • SAT Scores:
    ACT or SAT scores are required for all applicants under the age of 20.
  • Application Fee:
    The non-refundable application fee of $35 must be paid with credit card at time of submission.

Transfer Credit Policy

  • Minimum Grade:
    UVU accepts credits from regionally accredited Colleges/Universities as long as the courses taken were college level (considered transferable) and completed with C- grades or better.
  • Credits (Min/Max):
    There is no maximum number of credits or courses that may be transferred from a two-year or four-year institution. Minimum number of credits that transfers must complete at UVU to earn an associate degree is 20 and for a bachelor's degree is 30.
